Taemin Makes His Anticipated Comeback With “Criminal”
The ace of all aces, SHINee’s Taemin, made his return with his 3rd album!
Taemin’s 3rd Album ‘Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1’ dropped on various music sites on September 7th, 6 PM KST. Along with it, a music video for his title track, ‘Criminal,’ also released on Youtube and NAVER TV SMTOWN channel.
The album will be in two parts, ‘Never Gonna Dance Again’ as its prologue. For the series, Taemin breaks into the familiar world as an artist and dominates the scene with a new ego. He shows off cinematic grandeur for the comeback, and will represent the beginning of the rebellion into the familiar world.
The title song, ‘Criminal,’ is a synth wave track in which the lyrics portray the dangerous attraction that comes as Stockholm Syndrome. The track was composed by Lauren Aquilina, Chloe Latimer, Shane JAcobs, SCORE, and MEGATONE, and the lyrics were written by danke. The enticing lyrics, Taemin’s honey-like vocals, and intense dance are the perfect combination for a cinematic and deadly music video.
Along with the title track, the album has 9 songs in total: Criminal, Black Rose (ft. Kid milli), Strangers, Waiting For, Famous (Korean version), Clockwork, Just Me and You, Nemo, and 2 KIDS.
Taemin never fails to blow his fans away with his artistry of music. He also participated on various aspects of the album, as well as voice his opinions on the songs, visuals, the music video, and more. As it is unique and soothing to the ears, this is an album that will keep you entranced in a daze.
